Midnight arrives, the coven awakens
and hunger takes on an unholy second form
the cries of the children from under the floorboards
they wonder who's the next one to die
Abducted by the devil's bordello
lured by the decadent promises of bliss
brought to the house they saw in their dreams
bathed in the shadows of the woods

Light up the oven, a feast for the coven, their parents search high and low
The first ones to cry are the first ones to die, the rest are locked up in the basement below
The ones who survive are then roasted alive, until the meat falls off the bone
The gristle and fat will be fed to the rats, and the organs are fed to the crows

Brides of Satan, harlots of the damned
Starving for your children's flesh

I came accross Black Curse, and their first demo, on Greg Biehl / No Gleaming Light YT channel in late 2019 and a bit later, in 2020, as it was covid, a whole lot of time was spent at home listening to music. In April 2020, I took a slap in my face. The songs that were already on the demo, with the new production here were so insane, it dragged me to hell. Black Curse is definitely one of the most violent band I listened in the last years. Next-level Black-Death metal for sure ! drs_dramm

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass). Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit
